The two left in the field....

North Carolina and South Carolina

Here's Kallie's post for the week:

Hello!!

This week was full of so much excitement!! We have Maria who is being
baptized this week! A little background on the excitement though, the
ward I am in now, hasn't had a baptism since last November so everyone
is tickled pink and really excited about this baptism!! Literally
jumping off the walls! ;) in relief society we stood up and said that
we were having a baptism this Saturday and would love for them to
join! Everyone gasped and was really surprised that it was really
happening! We don't know how to express our excitement!! I love seeing
the light of Christ change people, because it has definitely changed
her. I love the Savior SO MUCH! I can't express the joy I feel as I
help others come unto Christ and receive the restored gospel! It truly
is the best calling in the world!!

This week we have been able to engage ourselves in lots of service! I
LOVE service!! Being able to let others see what we do, they love when
we come! We had an experience last week on exchanges. There was this
one lady who lives down the street from us! So, we went by and we saw
her, she was happy to see us but as I asked if we could do any service
for her she immediately said no and started to get into another
conversation, but then I just automatically started walking towards
the back of her house and said "well, if you were to have us help what
would we do!" so she showed us and then we just stared helping, even
while being in our skirts. Then she said that she didn't like us being
in our skirts and would rather we be in shorts, so we said "okay, we
will come back!" and we did! This week we were able to do lots of work
for her and help her out in her creek! It was so much fun and watching
her smile she said "thank you for coming over" It is the best feeling
ever when you know that the people you serve truly do appreciate the
work and service we give them even if they don't like it our accept it
at first! You just have to be persistent and help them see that it is
what we do! :)

It truly is great to be able to represent the Lord and be able to see
the people change, and witness it first hand! The calling to be a
missionary is so sacred and special!  This week I have been able to
foucs a lot on my purpose. After giving a sacrament talk last week
about prayer and missionary work I have really tried to foucs on my
purpose this week. I have learned a lot, I learned recently that we
are called and set apart by God, called by God and trust by God to
bring forth his Children to the fold of the gospel. People try to make
it seem like it is harder than it really is. I will admit that before
my mission I didn't really like sharing the gospel and thought that if
they don't get to hear the gospel than it would be there fault for not
finding it for themselves. But, that is the complete opposite. There
are so many people who are looking for the gospel but don't know where
to find it. That is where we as missionaries come in and help them see
the joy that comes  from missionary work.

Thought of the Week:

"You may have found that change is hard. But know you can do it. You
may wonder why you are not believed when you decide to change from a
life of disobedience to one of integrity and compliance to truth.
Recognize that it takes time to build a reputation that overcomes the
effects of past deliberate decisions to deceive and to take advantage
of others--but it is worth it."

Scripture of the Week:

In Luke 5:4–11, the Savior taught Peter a valuable lesson on faith.
After teaching a group of people on the shore of the Sea of Galilee,
the Savior invited Peter to “launch out into the deep, and let down
[his] nets for a draught.” Peter explained that he had unsuccessfully
fished in the same area all night, but he faithfully replied,
“Nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” As a result of his
faithful obedience, he gathered enough fish to break his net and
threaten to sink two boats.Sometimes the Lord asks us to do things
that seem illogical or even impossible. But when we trust in Him and
act in faith, He will bless us accordingly.

It has defiantly been a great week! Full of miracles and blessings!
Thank you all for your continual prayers and support! I sure love
ya'll!

Here's Charlies' for the week:
Well Hey Y'all,
Well This week has been pretty fun!!
Well it rained of course!! Gotta love that. I was a little nervous because it was on Saturday and I didn't want it to rain out on the Cougar game!! Which I am so excited to hear that they won!!!
Well we practiced a lot this week with our song coming up for Friday!!
Well we did some tracking this week!! Trying to find some new people to see!!
Well we got 2 new investigators!! Woot woot!!! Super excited about that!!
One lives right by the church!! And the other one lives close to where we live. Super cool week!! Well book of mormon class was great!! We are getting in the King Noah Chapters!! But sad because we have exchanges this week and I won't be able to read them.
Cool thing this week!! We went to see a way less active member!! We came at the right time. Super cool!! She told us that she had been thinking about coming back to the church. But haven't had the time yet!!
I felt really good inside and was super glad I followed the spirit because after we saw her for a couple of minutes she told us that they were leaving to head somewhere. I was super   shocked. It was super cool!!

Well Sunday of course was the best!! Our Testimony meeting was so powerful!! You could really tell that the spirit was there in that meeting!!
Well after church was a members baptism!! Awww it was so powerful. She had both her grandparents there. ( both from utah) Also The governor's brother's son's daughter was the one who got baptized on sunday!!
Well of course we had our preach my gospel class!! I got to play an investigator and pretend I didn't' know anything about the gospel!! It is hard at sometimes!! But it was fun to make the youth think about what to say!!

Well this week looks like it is going to be a fun week!! Zone Training meetings, Zone Conference( Which the car is cleaned, waxed and ready to be looked at!!), then we are teaching the cottles as well!! Can't wait!!! This week is going to be super fun!!

Quote for the week:
Ether 12:6
And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.

I just love how we can have such strong faith in our life. And we may have trials but with our little of faith it can become so strong!!

Well I love you so much!! Thanks for all you do!! I pray for each one of you guys!!
Have the best day of   Your entire life!!
