A New Transfer

I love Mondays!  P-days really are the best!  I met a sister missionary serving in our stake last week who is from Savannah, Georgia.  I told her that my daughter was currently serving in Savannah, Georgia. She laughed and told me that Charlie was serving in her ward.  Small world!

Hey Y'all,
Well this week was a different week. So how was all Y'all s Easter? Mine was great it just rained all day long.
Well to get to the week.
Monday it was Sister Dietz birthday so we had lunch at Bishop's and had dinner at Michyel pope's house. Then we did good byes for Sister Dietz and Sister Poynter.
It was crazy!
Tuesday we woke up at 5:30am and left by 6:45am for our 3 hour drive to Macon. So just to say it was so good to see my past companions. So the moment y'all have been waiting for...
My New Companion is Sister North. She is From Ceder City Utah. She has been out for 5 1/2 months. She is awesome.
So the rest of the day we went out to see members in the ward to meet her. It was just a good day. Also hearing the bombing on the way home was a little scary.
Wednesday we went out to see some Less actives and investigators. Just to say it was a strange day. We didn't get to see that many people. But we got to see those we needed to. Also we had our missionary correlation as well. Just to say everyone loves making fun of Sister North's name. They just say wait your not Sister North we are in the south.
But we had a wonderful time. We even went Tracting and met someone who has read the book of Mormon and she has friends who are Mormon. IT was so cool.
Thursday we went and contacted our referral. Just to say we went up there and he told us not to waste our time and that this was his house. It was a little funny of how he said it. But we tried a few more people around and it ended up time for lunch. So we went back. We ended up trying to see a  family and we went there and we found out that they where about to go to bed. It was sad.
Friday was our weekly planning. Just to say it was wonderful to go through who we should try this week. Also just to say Sister North had some amazing Ideas to put into the weekly planning. It was a lot of fun.
Well after that we went out and tried a few people and then we went to dinner at a members. It was so good. Also we went out and tried to see a few more people but no one answered so we went and saw Ms.Margret and we where able to put her on date to be baptized. We asked her if we could help her out with the smoke smell in her house. I asked if we could come and shampoo her carpets and she said yes. It was so excited to help her out.
Saturday was such a good day. So the night before I was looking at the map to see where we should tract and the Area Bloomingdale popped out. So we went over there. The first door we knocked on a young mother came out and we gave her a book of Mormon to read. She told us we could come back next week. We also gave her our number if she has any questions after that. I don't know why but when I Looked at her there was something about her that stood out. Something good.
After that we knocked on more doors and then had lunch. Which we brought a sack lunch with us. It was really good. After that we went to a less actives house and we had a great talk. Then after that we had our Cottage meeting with The Creek Family. Which it was so much fun. We got to go on an Easter Egg Hunt. I Really Loved that. Also Lauren's Kids came down. And Just to say her Daughter came right up to me and we had a fun time. I even gave her some of my Easter Eggs and she won for the most eggs. It was so funny. After words we had the General Women's Conference. Just to say it was so good. I loved every sec of it. I loved getting the counsel every 6 months from our leaders. They truly know how to help us out. Well after words a member took us out to sonic to get a milk shake and guess what. They ran out of Ice Cream. It was really sad. But we got shaved ice.
Sunday was amazing! I loved it. Church was so good. I love when it comes to Easter because sacrament meeting is all center on Him. Well it rained all day. We also got a text from a family and they invited us to Easter Dinner. It was so much fun. They had their friends and family and all of the Missionaries. Just to say her daughter's nickname is Charlie. So that was a little hard not to look when ever she called her name. But just to say the food was great.
Well we went and saw a few people after words and then came home and got ready for the next day.

Thought
Doctrine and Covents 76:22-24
And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives
For we saw him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father—
That by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.
I am so grateful for Christ Atonement! I know that he died for all of us; so that one day that we may live again. I know that we all go through things that we wish we didn't go through but I know that it is worth it in the  end.  I love my Savior and I can't wait for the day when I can come and give him a big hug and thank him in person for everything he did for me.
I Love y'all! Have the best day of your entire life. Remember Who you are and what you stand for.
Also my hair has really grown. I have notice because I take pictures and look at where my name  tag is and there it is covered by my hair.

Remember Him!

Hey Y'all,
Well this week has been a little different.
So just to say on Monday we went down town and I got a Savannah T-Shirt. And after that we went and ate at the Trailer Park. (Just to say we asked a tour guide where a cheap place was and he told us here. Just to say it wasn't cheap.) But I got a bacon apple pie sandwich. It was so good.
After that we went to the church where they where playing Nerf gun wars. It was fun to watch. Well after words we went shopping.
Tuesday was fun. Sister Dietz and I woke up at 6 o'clock and decorated the entire place for Sister Poynter's Birthday. It was so much fun. Just to say at District meeting we had fun decortating the place because it was Elder Benesh's Birthday as well. So we made it work.
Well after words we played a game then went to lunch. After words we went to Savannah and saw a few people and then came back for dinner at a members for Sister P's birthday. We saw a few people after that and then we had Cake at Lauren's house. Just to say their dog just wanted to play with me the entire time. It was so cute.
Wednesday was a weird day. We only saw a few people. It must have been spring break or something( it was). There was no one home. But at least we got to see a few people before the day ended.
Thursday Sister Poynter got sick. So luckly we where doing Weekly planning. WE did it today because we where going to be in Savannah but in Savannah on St. Patrick's Day is the worst. So it was perfect.
Well just to say while i was waiting for Sister Dietz to get back from Exchanges I started watching the church movies. Just to say I got to the Christmas Movies. It was going to be a very long day. Also we had house inspections as well. It was so crazy. Well I didn't have a green shirt so I put green ribbon and then Sister Dietz saw me and said I could wear one of her green shirts.
After a while Sister Dietz went out with a member and saw a few people. Well Sister Poynter went to sleep and I went and started watching the District video's. I got so bored. Well just to say it is hard to have a companion sick and there is nothing you can do.
Friday came and we where able to go out. I was so happy to step outside and get some fresh air. Well just to say we went out and taught a few lessons. And then after words helped someone load up a moving truck. Yep mom I was in the truck organizing everything. Making sure everything will fit in there. It was fun. brought memorizes when my family moved from Utah to Nebraska then back to Utah. But it was worth the help.
After words we went out with a member to see a few people.
We saw a member who is less active. She was so sweet. She said she had been really tired because she cleaned her floors all day and she still had one room left. We told her we could come and help and she agreed.
Saturday we came with our jeans and T-Shirts to help. When we knocked at the door she said she was joking but we still told her that we  where ready to serve. So she let us in and we cleaned the last room for her. After that we went to a ward activity. After that we went and tried a few people. We had a Cottage meeting with the Creeks and taught a wonderful lesson after words.
Well The moment you all have been waiting for. We had the Transfer call.... And I am Staying in Pooler and I will be getting a new companion tomorrow.
Sunday I spoke in Church. A crazy thing happened. A member had a little heart attack and we had to pause Sacrament meeting for a bit. This all happened during Sister Poynter's talk. Then she finished and then I got up. Some how at the end of my talk I slipped in about my experience about how I knew that families can be together forever.
After Church we found out the member is doing alright and that he was coming home from the hospital.
After words we went and saw a few people and then we went to the church and had an easter Celebration.  It was wonderful. After that we saw a few more people before bedtime.

So this morning the Elders came to our place and just to say they came to the door and asked if they can wash their hands. Just to say I had just gotten out of the shower and I put on my clothes really fast( my PJ's) and they put mud all over our car. And then we took pictures after words. But it was very funny at the end.

Thought this week.
The Atonement Applies to All of Us.
Isiah 1:18
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

I hope all of us remember what the true meaning of Easter is. I sure hope you have a wonderful week. I love y'all so much. Thanks for all you do.

A fun week: Charlie, 14 March 2016

Well Hey y'all,
Well this week was super fun!! I can't wait to tell y'all all about it.
Well Monday we just had a full day to ourselves. We went shopping and we had a wonderful lesson in the evening. We went to the Yates and taught the Recent convert lessons to their granddaughter. It was so much fun. After words we taught Spiritual CPR. I learned an amazing object lesson from Salt Lake that I just loved. So we did an object lesson.
Tuesday we went out teaching. We walked to our first place before lunch. Just to say it was great to walk. It felt so good. Well we got to a lesson and N_____ was talking to us about her church and how she hated it. When I told her about ours; she got so excited when she found out we take the sacrament every week. In her own words "Au____ I think we found us a new Church" It was so cool! I just wanted to scream but I couldn't just yet. Well they told us to come back that night because we had some where to go. Well just to say we came back with Lauren and N____ just loved her. She even posted on Facebook about us and her of how she has found the church she wants to join.
I couldn't even believe it. I was doing a happy dance inside.
Wednesday we went to Savannah and saw some amazing people. Just to say there was one place that it felt like I was in 150 + weather. I thought I was going to die in their house. Just to say I set out side and felt so much better. Well after dinner we headed back to Pooler and had an amazing lesson with J___. I did the first vision part in the lesson and recited Joseph's experience. After I did that J___ looked at me and said that is so cool that I have that memorized. Just to say the spirit was so strong in the room while we shared our testimony of the Book of Mormon.
Thursday we had our Zone Training Meeting. Just to say I gave a training and thought things where great. I had wonderful plans and all of the sudden.... President and Sister Cottle walked in and I was just a nervous wreck. But things went well. I was so happy that I was able to the things I needed.
Well after words we tried a few people then had dinner then we went to some less actives which they wanted to meet some people in the ward(those around their age.) That is what we did and it was just the best.
Friday we had our fun amazing Weekly Planning. Just to say we had another investigator L___ who told us that she wants to join our church. Just to say we did a happy dance in our home. we couldn't believe it. We where so excited.  After dinner we went out with a member and tried a few people. Also I hit my 13 month mark. This is so crazy to think I been out for so long. Time sure does go by so fast.
Saturday we went to a Stake Relief Society Food Storage Fair. It was so much fun. They had wonderful ideas and all the food they made was from food storage. I loved it. After that we went to see a few more people before dinner. Just to say we taught a lesson to the Creeks with 7 missionaries. Just to say it went great. But how ever when it got to mine turn to talk about Joseph Smith's experience I got a little emotional. Which has never happened ever before but I know that the spirit was in the room and was touching those around me.
After dinner we went out and taught a few more lessons. They truly where the best. We taught about Testimonies. Which where amazing.
Sunday we went to Savannah again and we went to see a lot of people. Just to day we had 11 lessons. It was just the best. I loved every sec. We just had a fun time in Savannah. After we did our call ins we went and played Apples to Apples. It was so much fun. I really enjoyed it. Then we went and got ready for bed.
This is what I read in my studies this morning and it was so amazing!

Big News!!!! It's a trio... Charlie 7 March 2016

Hey all Y'all,
Well this week has been super exciting!! Well just to say I can't believe time is flying by so fast.
SO to start out with the week!
Monday we did our shopping and I walked by some easter candy and had to get me some mini eggs! (I was thinking of you mom)
We went and had dinner with a member. Sorry I forgot to say Happy Leap Day! It was a pretty good day.
Tuesday we had our fun District meeting. After District meeting I looked at the phone and saw that we had a missed call from President Cottle. Just to say my heart was beating so fast.
So we called him back and he said that there was a transfer going on. Just to say I am in a Trio now!! My 4th one. I am so excited! Well my newest Companion is Sister Dietz! She is truly amazing! She has been out for a transfer less then I have. So 11 months! She almost hits her year mark! She is from Utah! The Cool thing is I served with her in the Macon Zone. I couldn't believe that we finally got to be companions.
So we went up to Savannah and picked her up then came back to Pooler. President told us that we are Covering Savannah and Pooler. (So mom I do get to serve in Savannah!) Well that night we went and saw a few people with Lauren! It was so much fun.
Wednesday we went out and saw a few people. Just to say it is so cool to be in a trio. We got to teach Charles inside with no problem. We also put him on date to be baptized in the next couple of months.
Then we went down to Savannah at the Armstrong college and taught an amazing girl there.
Then we went back to pooler and taught a few more  lessons till we had our mission correlation.
It was a wonderful evening.
Thursday we had our weekly planning! It was so much fun planning for 2 Areas in just a couple of hours. Also before Weekly planning we had a lesson with K___. It was really good that we where there. We where able to have the Elders come and give her a blessing. It was just the best! After weekly planning we helped a member with packing. Just to say I have had my shares with Packing. They truly are the best! Also Missionaries are so experienced with packing she called us for help. After dinner we went to Savannah and had an amazing lesson with P______. We introduce the plan of Salvation with him.
Friday we had a fun 3 hour drive to Macon for Mission Leadership Counsel. Just to say Sister Dietz was a Sister Training Leader in her Zone and so we got pulled into it as well. Also we cover the sisters for the Savannah East and West Zones. Pretty cool right?
Well just to say it was a little sad to walk into the Macon building. Just all the memories I had in there for District meetings, ward activities, etc.
But things went great! I got to see Sister Foster and so many people that I have gotten to serve around. Just to say it was a really good meeting and I can't wait to tell the missionaries what President Cottle wants them to learn. Then we drove home and got to see a Less active family and talked about faith. It was a lot of fun.
Saturday we had a fun day. We had an amazing lesson with Ms. Marget. We brought a member who she adores. Then we just went out finding people to teach until dinner. We had a lesson with Penny and then she came out with us for the rest of the evening to teach people. Just to say she is a great member. She told us when we go back that she wants to come back with us. Just to say that is so cool!
Sunday we went and had an amazing day of spiritual food. Then we went off after church we went out teaching. Just to say it was so much fun. Focusing on the work made me not thinking about how long I had left of the fast. It came to the time to end the fast and I felt just wonderful. Also at dinner we each had our very own tub of ice cream. It was just the best!
After dinner we had a member come out with us to see some more people to try. We met some interesting people along the way. There was a family that say us and then said" Stranger Danger" It made us laugh in the car. Then we tried a few more people and then said a prayer in the car and there was a guy standing outside of it and we talked to him for a bit. It was cool and scarey at the same time. He told us to come back during the day time when there are kids out playing and when we can park the car and walk the place and talk to people. It was so funny.
Well just to say crazy things are happening! Well Also Saturday I hit the Mark that most missionaries look forward to. 6 months left. Just to say I am filled with fixed emotions. There are times I can't wait to go home and there are times I don't' want to. I Just want to stay on the field.
