Hello Family and Friends!
Everything is good here in North Carolina! So, adventure time, here is
what happened and what I have been learning! :)
Tuesday we were sitting at wifi and planning for our next day and a
potential called us and told us that he met with missionaries before
(meaning Sister Vos and I) who talked about the Book of Mormon and
wanted to know if we were coming back! I was speechless! He didn't
seem to interested at the time due to the cancelled appointments and
no responses to texts. He called us and said he lost our number and
was scrolling through his phone and called ours hoping it was us and
it was!! #miracle!! It was great! We set up an appointment to come
back the next day! We were ecstatic!
Well, the next day rolled around and we met with him! He is so great!
He loved the message of the restoration and wants his family to learn
more about the church! We are excited for him and the progression he
will be making in the near future!
On Thursday we were driving home from having lunch with the Harrisburg
Sisters and it was raining! It was raining all morning so there were
lots of puddles and such on the road! We were driving down a road and
it was a huge puddle! I told sister Corrigan to drive fast through it
and when we went into the puddle a huge splash came up and there was a
car next to us with his window down, the water from the splash ended
up in his car! It was hilarious! That's what happens when people smoke
and leave a crack for smoke to escape!
Friday was the wards Christmas party! One of the members who's wife is
a convert came up to us and told us they brought a friend for us to
meet and start teaching! They are a great family and we are grateful
for the potential this family has! :) Miracles are happening in
Matthews!!
Saturday we went and saw one of our less active members! She is so
hilarious! As we started to teach her she looked at a container of
baby food and picked it up! As she turned the canister towards her she
opened the seal! Then, all of a sudden she takes the lid off and pops
one in her mouth! And in response she said "no wonder little kids like
These!" Take note, she has no little kids in her house! Oh my goodness
it was so hilarious! :) I love her so much!!
Sunday was great as always! We went to the stake Christmas concert
that night, the person directing the music was all into it, she used
lots of facial expressions and arm movement! #feelingthespirit
Quote of the day: As we extend our hands and hearts toward others in
Christlike love, something wonderful happens to us. Our own spirits
become healed, more refined, and stronger. We become happier, more
peaceful, and more receptive to the whisperings of the Holy Spirit." -

Ponderizer: Ether 12:27
Love you all!!
Have a very merry Christmas!! :)
